Life. It’s so fragile that we need prayers to survive. Like those games where we need to think up hard, look for food, construct houses, buy cars, oil, iPhone, designer clothes… (you get the picture). Somehow, humans have evolved to need more stuff to live life to the fullest. Or, is it? Do we need stuff to live? Do we need to invent so many stuff to stuff our garages and store more stuff that we could ever imagine? Why not?
Throughout our lifetime, sometimes God destroys all things so we could focus on the important stuff, like Him! God is not an invention, He is the Great Inventor. He invented us. Does God need us for Him to survive? No. We. Need. God. He is the stuff that brings us real joy and happiness. He is the stuff that brings fullness and satisfaction. He is the Stuff that gives us Life.
33 Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things. 34 So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings.
