We have frail physical bodies. That is why we need to take care of our health. We need to eat the right diet, exercise, and enough rest. We all know that we cannot live beyond 120 years, as God said. No matter how hard we try. Before that, God allowed humans to live as long as 800 years old! Imagine that. Others will presume that in those days, food is fresh, living with no pollution whatsoever, unlike today.
The important thing as a mortal being is to live a fulfilling life. We must not live for the sake of living. Try to live as if it’s your last. Wake up every morning happy and work your way to be joyful because we don’t know when our day will come.
16 Be joyful always, 17 pray at all times, 18 be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus. 19 Do not restrain the Holy Spirit; 20 do not despise inspired messages. 21 Put all things to the test: keep what is good 22 and avoid every kind of evil. 23 May the God who gives us peace make you holy in every way and keep your whole being — spirit, soul, and body — free from every fault at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you will do it, because he is faithful.
