The wicked maybe laughing out loud at first, but eventually they will die and be forgotten. The Lord of righteousness will punish them and destroy them with fire, all their wealth will be gone, and be trampled underfoot by strangers. Even the footsteps they leave will be erased, and the howls of demons will be heard.
However, the story of God’s children is very different. They will cry and wail because of persecution at first, but they will be rescued and saved by the Lord. He will remember them and reward them for their suffering for doing what is right. Their names will be etched on the palm of God’s hands.
Once you lived in the dark, but now the Lord has filled you with light. Live as children who have light. 9 Light produces everything that is good, that has God’s approval, and that is true. 10 Determine which things please the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the useless works that darkness produces. Instead, expose them for what they are. 12 It is shameful to talk about what some people do in secret. 13 Light exposes the true character of everything 14 because light makes everything easy to see. That’s why it says:
“Wake up, sleeper!
Rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
15 So then, be very careful how you live. Don’t live like foolish people but like wise people. 16 Make the most of your opportunities because these are evil days. 17 So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord wants. 18 Don’t get drunk on wine, which leads to wild living. Instead, be filled with the Spirit 19 by reciting psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs for your own good. Sing and make music to the Lord with your hearts. 20 Always thank God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:8-20
The Message
It’s harder living in the dark because you cannot see anything! If the lights are turned off, you stumble around groping looking for the switch. It’s like you are born blind and couldn’t do anything but beg beside the streets, and ask for assistance so you can move around.
When I was just a kid, I fear my dark room at night. I use my blanket to cower in fear because of the darkness and the creepy sounds I hear every night. But, as days and weeks go by, I learned to be brave knowing that the sun will rise again in the morning.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. He who has the light will never live in darkness. Everything will be plain when you can see, and God will expose everything that is hidden or done in secret. Everything in this world will be brought out in the light, and darkness will have no power of it. For darkness can never overcome Light.

We beg you on behalf of Christ to become reunited with God.
God had Christ, who was sinless, take our sin so that we might receive God’s approval through him.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21
In heaven’s courts there are today men that once were sinners, but they have been washed–they have been sanctified.
Ask them whence the brightness of their robes hath come, and where their purity hath been achieved, and they, with united breath, tell you that they have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Spurgeon
Now, the effects of the corrupt nature are obvious: illicit sex, perversion, promiscuity, 20 idolatry, drug use, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, angry outbursts, selfish ambition, conflict, factions, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild partying, and similar things. I’ve told you in the past and I’m telling you again that people who do these kinds of things will not inherit God’s kingdom.
22 But the spiritual nature produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There are no laws against things like that. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their corrupt nature along with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by our spiritual nature, then our lives need to conform to our spiritual nature. 26 We can’t allow ourselves to act arrogantly and to provoke or envy each other.
Galatians 5:19-26
Brothers and sisters, if a person gets trapped by wrongdoing, those of you who are spiritual should help that person turn away from doing wrong. Do it in a gentle way. At the same time watch yourself so that you also are not tempted. 2 Help carry each other’s burdens. In this way you will follow Christ’s teachings. 3 So if any one of you thinks you’re important when you’re really not, you’re only fooling yourself. 4 Each of you must examine your own actions. Then you can be proud of your own accomplishments without comparing yourself to others. 5 Assume your own responsibility.
Galatians 6:1-5
The person who is taught God’s word should share all good things with his teacher. 7 Make no mistake about this: You can never make a fool out of God. Whatever you plant is what you’ll harvest. 8 If you plant in ⌞the soil of⌟ your corrupt nature, you will harvest destruction. But if you plant in ⌞the soil of⌟ your spiritual nature, you will harvest everlasting life. 9 We can’t allow ourselves to get tired of living the right way. Certainly, each of us will receive ⌞everlasting life⌟ at the proper time, if we don’t give up. 10 Whenever we have the opportunity, we have to do what is good for everyone, especially for the family of believers.
Galatians 6:6-10
The Message
Is this possible? To do what is good for everyone? Yes, this is possible by the power of the Holy Spirit! We should not depend on our strength, our own wisdom, or our own skills, but we should 100% depend on God. That is why we should pray always and rely on God’s wisdom so that the achievement you made will glorify God, and not ourselves:
But nothing is impossible for God.”
Luke 1:37
The problem sometimes with us Christians is that we believe that God is small and powerless. The truth is He is the most powerful! He created everything you can see and you can’t see. What is hidden is plain in His sight, for He knows everything even the depths of our hearts:
There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. There is nothing kept secret that will not come to light.
Luke 8:17
Therefore, we must love one another as God loves us. For God showed us grace and mercy even while we are sinners who have fallen short in the sight of God. He forgives all our faults by the power of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, by His blood and took Himself all our sins and purified us to live holy lives. All praise and honor belong to God! Amen:
Put up with each other, and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
A close relationship only blossoms by having fellowship and friendship with someone you love. It cannot be something achieved by spending money or buying flowers only, but talking and conversing everyday with each other.
Spurgeon once said, “Prayer is the autograph of the Holy Ghost upon the renewed heart.”
The pandemic has changed our lives. Even in these evil days, we must draw some lessons that will bring us to a better life. “What have we learned from the pandemic?”
Smile! Have some encouraging words that will brighten your morning! Look out and see the beautiful sunrise. Watch fluffy clouds that looks like animals pass by. Open your cat eyes and see the handsome face inside you!
