Cup Anemometers For Wildfires And Wind Energy

They could place many of these in strategic places so they would know where the wind is blowing, and therefore predict where the fire is going.

You could see what it looked like here on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anemometer

The only problem with this cup anemometers is that it has no reading that is transmitted using radio communications to an app using a phone. This is a cheaper way to stop wildfires before it spreads.

Moreover, cup anemometers is better for Wind turbines that collects wind energy, rather than the vane anemometer design. Cup anemometers can capture wind from all directions making it more efficient than the current designs. You could also put many cups vertically on a singe stem, and thus saving costs and space. Praise God!

Plastic Bottle Shredder

Plastic Bottle Shredder

Plastic bottles are an ever increasing problem for our oceans. We are polluting and killing sea creatures, while we enjoy our seafood meals. Plastic when recycled, needs energy to melt it and form into a new bottle. This is costly to recycle than to make another from scratch. The idea is we could store the millions of tons of plastic bottles inside a warehouse if only we could make it small enough to store. So, we need to shred it to bits and put it on containers. We don’t need to recycle it immediately. Later, you can turn it to tables, chairs, smartphone casings using shredded plastic bottles and put glue.

Idea To Lessen Floods

Idea To Lessen Floods

I was reading a book talking about how their place got flooded because the river cannot carry the rainwater fast enough to make the level of water low. So, the idea is to put large underwater fan in the river to make the flow of water faster, and flood waters will drain faster. I’m not talking about fans for ventilation, what I mean is fans under the water, placed stationary to speed up the flow of water. If you are depending on gravity, then it’s too slow for the water to drain because you are relying only on gravity, and the downpour which make the water rise fast per minute. Therefore, we might put fans that can push the water out and into the river, and the river with these fans, would push the water out to the sea. Praise God!

Canceled Flights

There are thousands of flight cancelations across Europe, and it’s becoming a serious crisis. One advice I could give is do your vacation in winter season. By that time, you’ll have money reserved for your vacation, avoid the chaos in airports, and the harsh, cold winter.

Another suggestion is to travel by train. When my family and I toured Europe, we rode a train going to Germany. I can remember that I hardly got some sleep because my back hurts, but we got to our destination early.

What to do during summer when the weather is so hot? Go to office and work because there is air-conditioning. Your company could save electricity when many people are there rather than working inside your house. But, how about covid? Pray and have faith. Read Psalm 91, and claim it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 91

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.

He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Psalm 91

Therefore, love the LORD with all your heart, all your mind, with all your soul, and all your strength. Be obedient to His voice, listen only to Him. Amen.

Winter Vacation And Work From Home

Winter Vacation And Work From Home

I saw an article about Greece trying to woo French people to go to their place during the winter. We know the energy crunch that is happening around the world, and we must ask God for wisdom.

People go to places with cooler climate during summer vacation. So, why not go to warmer places during winter? Since we are working at home with our laptops, we can work anywhere we are, even in remote areas. The digitalization of this modern world has made work possible in the office or outside. Because of this challenging times, we seek out solutions in order to make life’s burdens lighter.

Of course, we need some requirements in order for this to work: High-speed Internet access, security (physical or virtual), and an electric AC outlet.

High-speed Internet depends of course from the provider you choose. So, you must check its reliability at the place of where you are living.

Security for your expensive laptops and phones should be prioritized. You must have a backup of every files you have in the cloud, in case it got stolen. This becomes serious when important files from your company suddenly got stolen. Maybe, you should enable two-factor authentication when using cloud services. It is also a must to install the best antivirus software, and a trusted VPN provider. Please talk with your IT department before doing things like these, and ask their phone numbers in case something bad happens. Write this down on pen and paper.

Electric outlets are quite easy when indoors, but outdoors you must have battery packs which extends the laptop’s charge. Please pick the best brand you can or buy it from a trusted source because lithium ion batteries can explode if manufactured defectively. Do not place it inside your cars for long periods of time because of high temperature. Please read the safety manual for more details.

Going to a winter vacation is a good solution to save electricity rather use expensive heaters throughout the winter season. You might also visit a long time friend or relative for you to stay and save money for rent. You might want to invite them later to your house during their vacation.

These are some of the tips I know that will make your work a lot easier. In times like these, we need God for His wisdom and mercies as we do our work of love for others.

Heat Feet

I walked for more than 15 hours when I left my house before the volcano erupted (All praises to God). I can distinctly remember the time when my foot started to hurt, and I removed my slippers and walked bare footed. The road was so hot that it’s burning my feet like hell, and I immediately sat on the ground and put on my slippers.

Today, as I was reading the news (at my parent’s house), it says that there is a heatwave going on in Europe. Temperature is reaching fever level at 45 degree Celsius! Then, I realized that what’s making urban areas so hot is because of roads. The heat from our roads is making our place so hot because of this.

As I was reading the Bible, I came across a verse about locusts eating the grass as God’s punishment. It later dawned on me that grass could make the Earth cooler. I remember that every morning, you could see morning dew forms on grass that makes cooler air because of water droplets. Logic dictates that putting grass on side-walks could make urban areas cooler because of the morning dew that are collected by the grass.

I hope this solution can solve the problem of heatwaves that are plaguing the world that even many people died because of this. I couldn’t stress so much for its importance. Praise God!

Preserve Food

“Everyone will be purified by fire as a sacrifice is purified by salt.”

Mark 9:49

This one is an old technology that works. Nowadays, we have an electricity problem because we are running out of fuel. So, the only way to have fuel for the winter, we have to conserve electricity.

The solution is to use salt to preserve food.

We all know this, but have forgotten because of our reliance on refrigeration over the years. God has pointed me to this verse to help others who are experiencing blackouts and food waste.

Together in Christ, we can solve any problem that we are facing. For, the Lord Jesus will never forsake us nor abandon us. I pray that God will give us more faith to overcome any obstacle in life. In God, everything is possible!

God Is Not Blind

He will not permit your foot to stumble;
he who guards you will not fall asleep.

Psalm 121:3

God is NOT blind, for He sees everything even the rock that will make you stumble.

If God sees everything, He can also see what will happen in the future. He’s a Prophet, or a Seer who sees events that WILL happen around us. He is giving us a warning for something that will happen, so we can prepare ourselves when that happens.

This is evident in the Old Testament during the prophets like Joseph. I remember in the Bible when Joseph had a dream that there will be seven years of plenty, and seven years of famine after. From being a prisoner, he became the second most powerful ruler in Egypt because of his dreams that came true. He ordered the people to store food for seven years.

I’ve done some research, and I found out that it is in Joseph’s time when preservatives was invented in Egypt. They use a preservative called “natron.” Primarily, they use it to preserve pharaoh’s bodies by mummification. This is why they succeeded in preserving grains for seven years.

Appropriately, today we have problems like food shortages. We can use this old tech to prolong the life of food for consumption, and thus saving needed food. I am hoping scientists would develop this further to help food suppliers deliver their products to consumers, where gas prices are increasing. By making the shelf life of food longer, we can transport goods in longer duration, thus saving gasoline and other petrol products.

This is an example of what the Lord ‘sees’ that will help us not to stumble. The warning is already there, we just have to be united and help each other overcome obstacles in life.

Burnout

I’ve been reading the news lately, and many are quitting their jobs due to burnout. All I can say is good for them! If your job is about burnout day in and day out, then that’s NOT the right job for you. God has something better for all of us, if we just ask God and listen to Him.

God’s Promise
