Alkaline Batteries Are Better For Phones

Alkaline Batteries Are Better For Phones

We know the drill, talk by day and charge by night. This is how we use our phones every single day. Although we are used to this ceremony, there is a much better solution to Lithium Ion batteries: Alkaline batteries.

Alakaline batteries have been here for a long time. We buy these on mini stores like 7-Eleven, and just plunk it in our flashlights. Most people in our country don’t know that there are rechargeable Alakaline batteries that can be used as a replacement to our Lithium Ion batteries, used in our beloved phones.

The advantages really overtakes the disadvantages:

It’s Safer than Lithium ion.

We are all very familiar with phones bursting into flames before, and sometimes this still happens on cheap smartphones with other brands especially when it is left charging on outlets. Alkaline batteries also explode, but only when it’s disposed on fire like the AA batteries we are used to. Thus, making alkaline batteries a better choice for smartphones.

It’s Cheaper than Lithium Ion.

We know how much are AA batteries nowadays, and it’s a lot cheaper to buy, and cheaper to make in factories.

Before, my Lithium ion battery got bloated, and had to replace it one time, and I went to the manufacturers service center. It costs about 13 USD for one battery, and my phone is small compared to phones nowadays that can’t be replaced easily. Alkaline batteries cost around 4 USD for four AA.

It’s more convenient.

You Don’t Have Recharge Your Phone Everyday using Alakaline batteries. Alakaline batteries can power up your phone for months before it fully discharges than a Lithium ion ones, before you charge it up again on outlets.

It ain’t perfect!

Right now, the technology behind Alkaline batteries are not fully harnessed, although it’s older than Lithium ion batteries. However, if we have funds to fully unlock it’s capabilities, then we are talking about ‘disruptive’ in our generation, and years to come.

Currently, we are in an energy crisis, and we need electricity for myriads of consumer devices that are essential for our living like laptops, phone, cars, lighting, appliances, etc. Therefore, we need to realize that status quo is not favorable due to the oil crisis we’re experiencing today, and we need renewables like solar and wind energy to restore our climates’ health. Fortunately, we have the means to cultivate the technology that will propel us to the future.

The Assurance of God’s Saving Work (Psalms 20:2)

“May He send you help from the sanctuary,
And strengthen you out of Zion”

Psalms 20:2

The sanctuary means God’s temple, which is your own body.

“Surely you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you!”

1 Corinthians 3:16

That is why we should also take care of our body.

I remember my uncle who smokes cigarette everyday, and everytime I meet him, I tell him that smoking is bad for him. He just shrugs and keep on smoking because it became his habit for many years.

It says here that our body is God’s temple, and therefore, we must take good care of it by not harming it. Eating the right diet, and drinking lots of water, “just like my grandma used to say!”

How can we have strength if our body is weak? We may have a strong spirit, but with a weak body, we can’t even last very long to help others. Or, it maybe the other way around. Our body is strong, but our spirit is weak.

Therefore, strength of our spirit comes from the Lord. He gives us inner strength to fulfill God’s will and purpose.

A few months ago, I was lean and strong physically. After walking for ten hours, I became so fit and strong because I walked everyday. I don’t ride a bus or a taxi, I always walked even if it’s far.

Now, I am getting fatter, and has a big belly already. I plan to go down and up the stairs daily to stengthen my body. But, how can we do this if our spirit is tired and aching?

It is said that God will strengthen us from His holy mountain, Zion. Both physically and spiritually. We just have to humbly ask Him, and He will gladly give us strength. Praise God!

Salt Water Dries Out Your Skin

Salt Water Dries Out Your Skin And Water Cooler For Showers

We all know that salt absorbs water, and dries out everything it touches. Therefore, avoid going to beaches to avoid dehydration, especially drinking or eating food with too much salt. Going to a swimming pool is much better to cool off since it doesn’t have salt. Although, it does have chlorine, but in computed quantities.

Another recommendation is to have a cool shower. Instead of a heater, if they have a cooling machine that you connect to your tap water shower, then it’s the way to go.

Heat Feet

I walked for more than 15 hours when I left my house before the volcano erupted (All praises to God). I can distinctly remember the time when my foot started to hurt, and I removed my slippers and walked bare footed. The road was so hot that it’s burning my feet like hell, and I immediately sat on the ground and put on my slippers.

Today, as I was reading the news (at my parent’s house), it says that there is a heatwave going on in Europe. Temperature is reaching fever level at 45 degree Celsius! Then, I realized that what’s making urban areas so hot is because of roads. The heat from our roads is making our place so hot because of this.

As I was reading the Bible, I came across a verse about locusts eating the grass as God’s punishment. It later dawned on me that grass could make the Earth cooler. I remember that every morning, you could see morning dew forms on grass that makes cooler air because of water droplets. Logic dictates that putting grass on side-walks could make urban areas cooler because of the morning dew that are collected by the grass.

I hope this solution can solve the problem of heatwaves that are plaguing the world that even many people died because of this. I couldn’t stress so much for its importance. Praise God!

For You

Matthew 7:12

Spirit Controlled

1 Samuel 16:13
Samuel took the olive oil and anointed David in front of his brothers. Immediately the spirit of the LORD took control of David and was with him from that day on. Then Samuel returned to Ramah.

Olive oil was used by Jacob to dedicate the place Bethel as “House of God.” This was the time when he obeyed his father Isaac to find a wife. While he was sleeping there, he dreamt of angels going up and down a stairway from earth to heaven, then he saw God standing beside him, spoke to him and blessed him.

“Dedicate” means to “set apart” making someone or something sacred, or made holy, and so special to God. You might wonder that this sort of thing is a superstitious belief, but the truth is it’s based on the Bible, the Word of God. There are a lot of things in this world that we don’t understand. It’s also wrong to ignore this belief because faith is something we don’t see. It is the acceptance of something that has no visible evidence, or through scientific observation. That’s where science has its shortcomings. They are accepted only by means of the physical realm, and no spiritual realm. And, we all know that there is a spiritual realm in the universe.

Now, why the use of olive oil for consecration if it’s something spiritual? Why offer a lamb sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin in the Old Testament? It’s because the physical and the spiritual is linked. God created the universe with both physical and spiritual properties. And, a time will come when we will all change into “Glorified bodies,” which decay and all physics will vanish forever!

Fireproof

If what was built on the foundation
survives the fire, the builder will
receive a reward.
1 Corinthians 3:14

What building that doesn’t get burned with fire? The other day, I was watching the once mighty monuments from Roman history. There is nothing left there but ruins. You can see some pillars standing to remind us of the past, but everything was destroyed by the ravages of time. I saw a documentary about how an ancient tribe lived in caves, and got buried there. Caves are not beautiful, but they stand the test of time. A house built on a rock will be left standing.

Power

God’s kingdom isn’t just a
lot of words. It is power.
1 Corinthians 4:20

Our country is having a power crisis at the moment, for we lack funds to build a new power plant. It’s always the lack of funding these days because of this pandemic. We preachers don’t lack words to say, and non-believers think we are just full of it. The truth is the heavens and the earth were created by God’s word. God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Imitate Christ

To become a great artist, you should imitate great artists. Those people who have already achieved success and who have overcome trials and yet endured. We should imitate people to become like them.

You all know those books that say, “7 Successful Strategies Of Jeff Bezos,” or that book that says, “10 Commandments Of An Effective Leadership by…” Yep, we’ve seen  a lot of these books in bookstores that I actually bought one of those. This is not wrong. The truth is imitating successful people is the way to go, in order to have their qualities rub into yours and become successful just like them.

Now, what Bible character do you want to imitate? Some would say Joseph, or apostle Paul, and most would choose Jesus himself. In James 5:17 it says, “Elijah was the same kind of person as we are. He prayed earnestly that there would be no rain, and no rain fell on the land for three and a half years.” It tells us that Elijah is just like us! We are no different from him, even if we consider him as the greatest man who ever lived. We all know his wondrous miracles, the fire from the sky, the chariots of fire, and etc. The reality is we could be just like him if we will try to imitate him.

In 1 Corinthians 11:1, Paul says, “Imitate me, then, just as I imitate Christ.” Ultimately, we should imitate the Lord because this is God’s purpose to us. Just like a mirror image of Himself. God’s more concerned about your character development rather than your situation. The truth is God uses circumstances and trials to develop your character into more like Him, in order to be successful.

Therefore, you can be like Elijah, or Paul, or Joseph, or David, or even like Jesus if we follow and imitate them. That is why we need to read the Bible because it is in that book that contains the secret to our success in life. Here, and beyond.
