More Boats For Travel

“The Lord said to Noah, “Go into the boat with your whole family; I have found that you are the only one in all the world who does what is right.”

Genesis 7:1

There is a current fuel crisis plaguing the whole Earth because of the war in Ukraine. We must save gasoline for winter. There are airport strikes in Germany, France, and other parts of the world because of rising fuel prices. God impressed on me, in order to conserve fuel we must use boats instead of airplanes.

There are different kinds of boats for different uses. There are boats that can accommodate tens of thousands of people on one boat that go to different parts of the world. That is why it is more cost-effective than airplanes, but slower.

Everyday, there are thousands of container ships that cross the oceans. Therefore, it is not something new, for boats to travel in different places. We just have to adjust to a slower pace of life, in order to save more fuel.

If only they could make electric boats?

God Is Not Blind

He will not permit your foot to stumble;
he who guards you will not fall asleep.

Psalm 121:3

God is NOT blind, for He sees everything even the rock that will make you stumble.

If God sees everything, He can also see what will happen in the future. He’s a Prophet, or a Seer who sees events that WILL happen around us. He is giving us a warning for something that will happen, so we can prepare ourselves when that happens.

This is evident in the Old Testament during the prophets like Joseph. I remember in the Bible when Joseph had a dream that there will be seven years of plenty, and seven years of famine after. From being a prisoner, he became the second most powerful ruler in Egypt because of his dreams that came true. He ordered the people to store food for seven years.

I’ve done some research, and I found out that it is in Joseph’s time when preservatives was invented in Egypt. They use a preservative called “natron.” Primarily, they use it to preserve pharaoh’s bodies by mummification. This is why they succeeded in preserving grains for seven years.

Appropriately, today we have problems like food shortages. We can use this old tech to prolong the life of food for consumption, and thus saving needed food. I am hoping scientists would develop this further to help food suppliers deliver their products to consumers, where gas prices are increasing. By making the shelf life of food longer, we can transport goods in longer duration, thus saving gasoline and other petrol products.

This is an example of what the Lord ‘sees’ that will help us not to stumble. The warning is already there, we just have to be united and help each other overcome obstacles in life.

Conservation

Please watch this: https://youtu.be/GSc5zo4WjJs

The Lord God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden so that he might work it and care for it.

Genesis 2:15

By saving electricity, we can also save money. Thus, the reason for conservation. God has commanded man to take care of our planet, and we must do so for our survival. We must get rid of our greed by sharing our produce to others by loving one another.

When we have additional food, we give it to our janitor because he works in our building. Or, when poor children are starving, we give food to them, thus preventing waste. We know that our love is genuine and sincere. So, I urge people to do the same.

Thank you for helping others, and helping save our planet our temporary home.

Ask For Rest

“We’ve been through hell, but we’re still here!”

Sometimes, when times are getting tough on me, I mistaken it for something bad in my life. The truth is, wherever we are right now, there is a purpose, and that purpose is something good. I mean usually, or every time.

Instinctively, people react bad when something is different, but the truth is it’s something better from God. IF it comes from a true Christian.

For God did not make death, nor does he delight in the death of the living. He created all things so that they might have existence, and the creatures of the world give life. There is no deadly poison in any of them, and the domain of hell is not on the earth, for righteousness is immortal.

Wisdom 13-15

I am wrong when I said I’ve been through hell. Actually, I had quite a lot of working to the point of exhaustion. We are all exhausted to the bone, what we need is God to heal us and give us rest. The Lord Jesus Christ will give us rest IF we pray to Him that prayer.

Ask, Seek, Knock. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

Matthew 7:7

Go ahead, just ask God!

A Community Of Believers

Here we go again. Omicron is spreading so quickly, it will be the dominant strain everywhere. The question is what can we do to prevent this.

In the old testament, read Isaiah 26:16-20. It says that the best way to prevent in getting the virus is to quarantine:

“Go inside and lock the doors, my people. Hide there for a little while, until the LORD is no longer angry.”

Isaiah 26:20

As a web developer, and with the LORD’s guidance and strength, I made a website for volunteers to send necessities to those who are in quarantine. This can be used to notify volunteers of tasks like bringing groceries to people efficiently using automated email sending.

I also created a messaging website in times of a disaster when there is slow internet connection like in rural or remote areas.

These are free to use with no cost to you.

Here are the links:

https://www.superblygreat.online/ (This will change to https://www.superblygreat.com on January 16, 2022).

We are a community of believers, and we must do our part to help others:

“But in everything and in every way we show that we truly are God’s servants. We have always been patient, though we have had a lot of trouble, suffering, and hard times.”

2 Corinthians 6:4

Light Within

As we all know, Facebook has become “Meta” short for metaverse as in universe. This is some sort of virtual reality concept that you can go to and interact with your friends and family in different universes. A world inside the computing space where you can create your own world, and it is perfect (another gadget to buy if you ask me). Anyway, it’s exciting to say the least, and bringing interest from rich people and investors (well, we ordinary citizens are the customers who will benefit from this type of communication, but the timing is somewhat off key). Yes, you have to buy their new virtual headset, and see this new world.

Pondering, there is something about light that emits to the eyes that astound me. This is just light being manipulated to our eyes, and you can create universes just by looking. To think about it, what kind of a world without light? If we live in darkness, is there life?

Just like a painting, light that reflects the paint gives life to it. Without light, there is no painting! We stare all day at our computer monitors that emit light, and we can see its power. It could change the world because of light. That’s how computing changed our world. Light is the source of life, and it is the first thing that God created in this real universe. Now, we could create our own worlds and universes by this same light.

“You are the source of all life,
and because of your light we see the light.”
Psalms 36:9

But, why is God the Light in the Bible? We all know that when you say you are in the Light, it means that you are on the good side, and not the dark side which is evil. So, when you have this Light then you are following God, and doing good. Therefore, you can only have Life when you are doing good. That is why it says, “God is the source of Life… because of your Light we see Light.”

Jesus is the Way, The Truth, and The Life, says in the Bible. If you follow Jesus and have Jesus in your hearts, then you will have Life, and that is the Light within.

Small Things, Great Things

We all have a part to play in God’s glorious plans. Even if you write a letter for a blind man, or just sit and listen to someone, or you take the mail for him, and you visit somebody or bring a flower to somebody, or wash clothes for somebody or clean the house— small things, but these are great things in the eyes of God.

God Of Good Riches

Genesis 14:22-23
Abram answered:
The LORD God Most High made the heavens and the earth. And I have promised him that I won’t keep anything of yours, not even a sandal strap or a piece of thread. Then you can never say that you are the one who made me rich.

Not even a sandal strap, or a piece of thread! He doesn’t want to take anything from a king of a sinful nation, and we can see that God created the heavens and the earth. It is from He that all things come from:

Psalms 16:2
and I have said,
“Only you are my Lord!
Every good thing I have
is a gift from you.”

See the word “good” in everything? If it came from a good man or business, then it came from God. But, don’t accept anything that came from evil even a sandal strap, or a piece of thread. Or else, God will not accept it, and will not make you rich.

Perfect Time To Buy Or Rent EVs

There is news that the UK is having a petrol shortage because of the pandemic and Brexit. Since everyone needs to go to work, this is the best time to buy or rent electric cars.

The other day, I was watching this new company who manufactured a small electric car, and it’s become the fastest selling car in the market. It’s called, “Wu Ling,” if I’m not mistaken, and it was a collaboration between a Chinese company and an American company, General Motors. It became a hit in China. I watched the video and saw owners putting artwork like the Pikachu theme to their cute cars. But, the interesting part is how it was designed because they’ve designed it in such a way that it can be handled like a regular gasoline car. In short, they made it easy for drivers to adjust to driving their first electric vehicle without a steep learning curve.

That should be our goal in pursuing functional design for a new product, and that is to mimic as much as possible the old way of doing things. The same thing goes to designing an interface for an app, or website, or any other product.

Recycling Old CPUs And Make It New

I remembered the song, “Break It Down Again” by Tears for Fears, and it’s about how all the stuff we made should be broken down into it’s original form. This is like recycling. I believe that anything CAN be recycled.

Hearing the news yesterday, they said there is a CPU shortage because of work from home mandate. This made me think of recycling old CPUs into something new.

I’ve read an article that it’s impossible to turn old CPUs into new, and it’s better to turn them into solar panels instead (which is great if you ask me).

Another thought came to me, why not make CPUs recyclable? If anything can be broken down, so why not recyclable CPUs since electronic wastes are becoming a big problem.

This idea might even save us the next CPU crunch. I know Apple uses robots to reuse old iPhone components for manufacturing a new phone, and I hope other manufacturers would do the same. It’s not just about saving money anymore, but saving the world.
